​Les Nishikawa currently holds the rank of 7th dan in SKIF Karate.  He began his karate training at the age of 8 and has over 30 years of karate experience.  Les Nishikawa Sensei has also been teaching Shotokan Karate for over 20 years.  Throughout that time he has trained under Hanshi Victor Takemori (9th Dan), Edward Kiyuna Sensei (8th Dan), Robert Nishimura Sensei (8th Dan), Shihan Francis Fong (8th Dan), and Ronald Awa Sensei (8th Dan).
